There was something in the air this morning at General Session I. A bit of drama, a current of electricity running through the crowd. Thousands in attendance could feel something special is unfolding this weekend.
Our chairman emeritus, the one and only Gary Hollister, welcomed everyone to NEXT 2012 in Las Vegas before Joe took the stage and introduced the day’s theme: We’ve been blessed… Look what we have! He took stock of the good fortune, great minds and hard work that brought XANGO to this point, and he presented the state of the U.S., Canada and Mexico markets.
Joe Morton was the first to introduce XANGO Nation to Precis Rest & Renew! (Loved Joe’s story about how he used to be the first one asleep in his home, and now his boys will doze off before the old man!)
Next up was Senior Vice President Beverly Hollister, everyone’s favorite southern belle. Beverly wowed the crowd with the announcement of XANGO’s new line of Mangosteen Essential Oils, which combine pure mangosteen pericarp oil with other natural oils known to bring balance, vigor and vitality. These are fantastic products that open Distributors’ businesses to whole new demographics.
Aaron introduced Immaculée Ilibagiza, whose remarks can only be described as life-changing. She suffered through the 1994 Rwandan genocide, hiding with seven other women for three months in a tiny bathroom. Miraculously, she found the will not only to survive practically impossible, inhuman conditions, but she even found a way to forgive those who murdered her family, and then to embrace and exemplify a life of sincere love and compassion. The value of perspective… Our heartfelt thanks for your incredible spirit, Immaculée.
Our Chairman & CEO Aaron Garrity brought the house down with his patented blend of leadership, humor, perspective and drive. Anyone who can keep this juggernaut of a company rocking & rolling toward our magnificent destiny—AND tease Gary while simultaneously building him up—is an absolute master. Aaron delivers on all fronts.
This weekend we’re celebrating what we’ve built over our first decade—and we’re gearing up for the next. Bring on the NEXT 10 years!
